Clean and simple solutions are often the key to a good design.
How many Harley riders Max has a mania for black, and is (rightly) convinced, like most of bobber riders and cafè racers, that add it's better to remove. But not too much! Because he uses the Nightster also for travel.
Therefore the Black is the predominant color, if not the only visible with lights off... And where it was not already present, the pieces have been replaced or painted.
A bobber with clean lines and sophisticated finishes, in keeping with the racy tank, left as mom Harley did, because nice to see, with a minimal graphic, and obsession, black.
The seat, slender, has been tailor-made and covered in ostrich leather. The front forks were spaced and the stems treated to the DLC (Diamond Like Carbon), for the same reason: get the black!
The grid that protects the headlight, built by a blacksmith, helps to cover the little "non-black" remaining. The rear spotlight has been obscured to give it a look more "dark".
The extra small digital speedometer disappears into the handlebars, difficult to notice of his presence. Even the rear turn signals are gone, but the handlebars is so large that the indicators attached to the counterweights show good also from behind.
A couple of vintage style tyres there would be not bad to complete the work, but pity that Max don't use his Sporty just to go for drink a coffee to the near Lake of Como, but also to get the big Harley-Davidson rally like as the Super Rally and the spectacular Faaker See, in Austria. This explains also why the rear fender is shortened but not too much, useful yet to repair the water and attach a luggage.
There remain to list the "usual things": essential mirror, low rear shocks, custom footpegs, short front fender, belt and sprocket cover removed, a small air filter, and finally the Vance & Hines exhaust model Staggered Shortshot, popolare on the Harley Sportster, but there are damn good!
